The Durham Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), in collaboration with the NCCU Campus CERT, will facilitate a CERT Basic Training Course on these dates and times. Interested individuals must attend all sessions to receive their certificate of completion for the course:
Saturday, June 1 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 8 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 15 – 8:30 a.m. – noon.
The CERT training will benefit any citizen who takes it. This individual will be better prepared to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster. |

The Metro D.C. Chapter offers a limited number of scholarships and financial aid awards to students enrolled and/or accepted for enrollment at NCCU.
Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at NCCU and must be a resident of the Metro D.C. area (the city of D.C.; Maryland counties of Prince Georges, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, Calvert, St Mary's, Frederick or Howard County; and Virginia cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax and counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, Prince Williams and Stafford). |
