Event Description
The featured speaker will be Karla FC Holloway, James B. Duke professor of English, professor of Law and professor of Women's Studies at Duke University. Her topic is “Legal Fictions: How Race Composes Our Fictions." The annual Mason-Sekora Lecture honors Dr. Ernest Mason and Dr. John Sekora, both of whom researched and published primarily in African-American literature.
