NCCU’s Athletic Department annually sponsors the Homecoming Golf Tournament. This year the event will be held at The Crossings Golf Club at 4023 Wake Forest Highway or Highway 98 in Durham, NC on Friday October 31, 2008. It will be a Captain’s Choice event. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. followed by an awards luncheon commencing at approximately 5:30 pm. Practice rounds will be available for registered golfers only at a rate of $25, on Thursday, October 30. Please contact the golf course for your times.
The occasion is also an opportunity to provide scholarship assistance for our NCCU student-athletes. A major goal of the department is to raise the funds necessary to insure that all scholarship student-athletes have the books and materials necessary for academic success.
